Scandinavian Style Christmas

Scandinavian style seems to be very popular this Christmas, pretty red and white or blue and white fabric and accessories with Scandinavian prints are in many of the shops.  I love the change from the traditional red and greens.  I've rounded up some of my favourite Scandinavian fabrics and ribbons to share with you.

Dragonfly Fabrics have some lovely Scandinavian fleece fabrics pictured above.  These would make lovely snuggly hoodies, or warm fleece pyjamas.  They currently have 25% off all fleece fabrics at the moment.

I love these Scandinavian style wired robbons from Cloud Crafts they would be great around the top of a Christmas stocking.  They cost £2 a metre.

Celtic Fusion Fabric have a big selection of Scandinavian prints, including the new Dutch Love as pictured above.  I know it's not Chrismassy but was so pretty I had to share a pic.  On the Christmas front they have the Scandi themed Brrr! prints from Laurie Wisbrun as pictured below.

Sew and Quilt have this pretty Scandinavian stripey fabric, which aren't obviously Christmassy so could be used all year around.

This fabric, Seedheads in red from The Village Haberdashery would make a great subtle Christmas print to fit in with the red and white colour scheme.
